Thompson’s interest in fashion began at a young age, and at 16 years old, she entered the styling world, working as a fashion assistant at various publications, alongside some of the most influential names in the industry – from Sarajane Hoare, Grace Coddington, Patrick Demarchelier and Mario Testino and Annie Lebovitz.

Thompson was appointed as the creative director of East London Topshop-based streetwear brand Illustrated People in 2013, after her debut collaboration #PhoebeXIP sold out. While at Illustrated People, she secured stockists including Selfridges, Urban Outfitters, Nasty Gal, Dollskill and VFILES. As well as main line Illustrated People collections, Thompson has done numerous collaborations with other labels and personalities such as VFILES & Ed Hardy.

Since then Thompson has worked as a stylist with celebrities including Hailey Bieber, Ciara, Amelia Grey, Pink Pantheress, Charli XCX, Addison Rae, Beabadoobee, Iris Law, Zara Larsson and Jesse Jo Stark.

As well as working with the above talent Thompson has been focusing on styling runway shows and expanding her editorial work. As well as working with emerging music talent, these projects include creative direction, styling and photography.
